When a store closes, the lease handback date is fixed and usually already agreed. Between the last day of trading and that date there is a compressed window to strip the unit, and it frequently overlaps with the last of the stock being cleared.

- Can you clear a store overnight?
- Yes, where the center permits it, and for closures in an operating center it is often the only option. Tell us the access window and we will schedule to it.
- Do you take unsold stock?
- Yes. Where any of it is being returned, donated or sold on, separate it clearly beforehand — a mixed load cannot be sorted retrospectively.
- What about the glass display cases?
- Standard, though they are handled carefully and usually wrapped. Broken glass in a public area is the one thing a center will remember about a vendor.
- Can you clear back to shell for handback?
- We clear everything non-structural. Where the lease requires removal of fixed fit-out, partitions or flooring, that is contractor work and we clear behind them.
