How it works

You point. We haul.

Five steps, and only two of them involve you doing anything.

  1. 1

Tell us what needs to go

A sentence is enough. "A sectional and two bed frames", or "the whole garage".

  2. 2

    Select items or upload photos

Photographs are the fastest route to an accurate estimate, because volume is what pricing turns on.

  3. 3

    Get your estimate

A real number back before you commit to anything. Free, and no obligation attached.

  4. 4

    Choose your pickup time

Pick a window that suits. Same-day is often available across Fort Worth.

  5. 5

    We haul it away

The crew carries everything out and sweeps the space it was standing in.

Residential

Homes across every Fort Worth quadrant

The most common call is the simplest one: something large is in the way and there is no reasonable way to move it yourself. A sectional that will not go back down the stairs. A refrigerator that has been in the garage since the new one arrived. A treadmill that has been a clothes rack since 2022.

We load it, sweep the spot it was standing on, and go. You do not need to drag anything to the curb first, and you do not need to be the one lifting the heavy end.

  • Single items through to whole-house clearances
  • Upstairs rooms, attics, sheds and detached garages
  • Alley access on the older near-south and east-side streets
  • Curbside pickups without you being home

Commercial

Offices, retail, restaurants and everything behind them

Commercial work is a pillar of this branch rather than a sideline. Office suites cleared for handback, retail units stripped between tenants, restaurant fit-outs, and the storeroom nobody has opened since the last move.

Most of it happens outside business hours, because most of these buildings cannot stop operating for a clearance. Dock bookings, service elevators and certificates of insurance are handled as a matter of course.

  • Evening and weekend working as standard
  • Certificates of insurance filed in advance
  • Lease handback deadlines worked back from
  • One account across multiple sites

Moving & move-out

Stop paying to relocate things you do not want

Moving is priced by weight or by volume, so every unwanted item is charged twice — once to load it and once again in the space it occupies at the other end. Clearing three weeks before the move means you pack a smaller house.

And the other end of the job: whatever is still standing there after the van leaves, cleared before the walk-through or the closing.

  • Pre-move clearances timed before the packing
  • Post-move leftovers cleared the day after the van
  • Apartment move-outs with elevator access handled
  • Deposit and closing deadlines worked to

For moving companies

You move what they are keeping.
We haul what they are leaving.

Every move produces a pile your crew cannot load and will not take. Rather than leaving your customer with a problem on the last morning, hand it to a partner who solves it the same day.

  • Furniture the customer no longer wants
  • Mattresses and old appliances
  • Garage and storage leftovers
  • Items too large for the new place
  • Last-minute disposal on moving day
  • Post-move packaging and debris

Property managers & apartment communities

The same problem, repeatedly, at different addresses

Turnovers, abandoned belongings and the furniture that appears beside the enclosure every month. What a manager needs is an account, not a quote each time.

Construction & renovation

Keep the crew working. We will handle the debris.

Debris is a scheduling problem before it is a disposal problem. The cabinets come out Tuesday and the new ones arrive Thursday, and what happens in between decides whether the project holds its dates.

We clear between trades rather than after the project, on homes, offices, retail units and active job sites. Contractors run it on an account with agreed rates and one invoice across sites.

  • Cabinets, countertops, tile, carpet and drywall
  • Repeat pickups across a longer build
  • Timed to the trade sequence, not a rental period
  • No asbestos, no chemicals, no demolition

Warehouse & industrial

The work that makes this branch different

The Alliance corridor, the Meacham and Riverside industrial belts and the older warehouse stock along East Lancaster and Beach Street generate a steady stream of work that has nothing to do with sofas.

Pallets. Dead racking and shelving. Packaging waste after a heavy receiving week. Damaged totes, obsolete stock, the contents of a mothballed line. We take non-hazardous business junk in volume, around your operation rather than across the middle of it.

  • Pallets, shelving, racking and packaging waste
  • Standing weekly or monthly collections
  • Dock-level or ground-level loading
  • Out-of-hours and weekend slots

Before & after

The difference a crew and a truck make

Garages, curbs, bedrooms, offices and renovation sites, photographed before the crew arrived and again after they left. Move the handle with a pointer, or tab to it and use the arrow keys.

Items we take

If it fits in the truck and it is not hazardous, it goes

  • Furniture of every kind
  • Mattresses and box springs
  • Appliances, including refrigerators
  • Electronics and televisions
  • Garage, attic and shed contents
  • Yard waste and outdoor debris
  • Office furniture and IT hardware
  • Retail fixtures and shelving
  • Pallets and packaging waste
  • Renovation and construction debris
The full list

And the short list of what we cannot

These need Tarrant County household hazardous waste disposal or a licensed contractor. Set them aside and the crew works around them.

  • Paint, solvents, stains and thinners
  • Motor oil, fuel and antifreeze
  • Pool and garden chemicals
  • Loose and lithium batteries
  • Asbestos-containing material
  • Medical and biohazardous waste

Where it actually goes

Donation and recycling where it is genuinely possible

Plenty of what comes off a truck should not go to landfill. Usable furniture, working appliances, metal, cardboard and electronics all have better destinations, and where an item is genuinely in donatable condition and you would rather it went that way, tell us and it is kept separate.

What we will not do is publish a diversion percentage. Every load is different, receiving organizations set their own acceptance rules, and a number we cannot verify is worth nothing to you. Items that are regulated — refrigerant-bearing appliances and electronics in particular — are routed to facilities equipped to handle them, because that is a legal requirement rather than a preference.

Pricing

Priced by what it actually takes, not a flat rate

Volume in the truck, weight, the labor to get it out, and whether anything needs special handling. That is the whole formula, and photographs are what make it accurate.

  • Volume — the space your load occupies
  • Weight — dense debris costs more to dispose of
  • Labor — stairs, distance and disassembly
  • Handling — refrigerant, electronics and tires

Service areas

One branch, one crew, out of the Beach Street yard. Arlington and the Mid-Cities are covered by a different Junk Koala branch, so this list is what we genuinely serve.

Fort Worth FAQ

Questions we get asked most

Still not answered? Call the Fort Worth branch on (817) 347-0928 and ask.

How much does junk removal cost in Fort Worth?
Pricing is based on how much space your load takes up in the truck, adjusted for weight, the labor to get it out and whether anything needs special handling. Sending photographs through the quote form is the fastest way to a real number for your actual job.
Do I have to move anything outside before you arrive?
No. Carrying it out is the service. Items can be upstairs, in a back bedroom, in a detached garage, in an attic or at the bottom of the yard. If you have already put things at the curb, that is fine too and you do not need to be home.
Can you do same-day junk removal in Fort Worth?
Often, particularly for smaller loads booked in the morning. Rather than promising it on every job, the booking system shows the windows genuinely available today so you can see for yourself.
What areas around Fort Worth do you serve?
Fort Worth itself plus Keller, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, Saginaw, Benbrook, Burleson and the surrounding western Tarrant County cities, extending west to Azle, Aledo, Willow Park, Weatherford and Springtown. Arlington and the Mid-Cities are covered by a different Junk Koala branch.
Is this only for homes, or do you take commercial work too?
Yes, and commercial work is a large part of this branch. Offices, retail units, restaurants, warehouses, property managers, apartment communities and contractors all run through the same booking system, usually on an account.
Can you handle warehouse and industrial jobs?
Yes. Fort Worth generates more warehouse work than the rest of DFW and this branch is set up for it — pallets, shelving, packaging waste, surplus equipment and whole-floor clearances. We do not handle hazardous or regulated waste.
What will you not take?
Paint, solvents, fuel, oils, chemicals, pool supplies, loose batteries, asbestos-containing material and medical or biohazardous waste. Those need household hazardous waste disposal or a licensed contractor rather than a junk truck.
Do I need to be there when the crew arrives?
For an in-house clearance it helps to be there at the start to confirm what is going. For curbside pickups, garage clear-outs and empty properties you do not need to be present at all, provided we have access and an agreed scope.
