Terms of Service
These terms cover this website and the service this branch provides. Bookings, payments and accounts are governed by the Junk Koala platform terms, because that is where those happen.

Who this is
Junk Koala Fort Worth is the Fort Worth and western Tarrant County branch of the Junk Koala network, operating from 2001 Beach St, Ste 524, Fort Worth, TX 76103.
What these terms cover
These terms cover this website and the hauling work the Fort Worth branch carries out under it.
It does not cover booking, quoting, payment or account terms. Those are provided by the Junk Koala platform at junkkoala.com and are governed by that platform’s terms, which you agree to when you use the embedded booking, quote or sign-in forms.
Quotes and pricing
Load sizes and pricing factors described on this site are explanatory. They are not an offer and they are not a price. The figure that applies to your job is the one generated by the platform against the details and photographs you supply.
A quote is given on the basis of what was described and photographed. Where the job on the day is materially different — significantly more volume, materially heavier material, or access that was not disclosed — the crew will tell you before loading and the quote may be revised. Nothing is loaded on a revised figure without your agreement.
What we will not haul
For legal and safety reasons this branch cannot accept, and crews will decline on site:
- Paint, stains, thinners, solvents and adhesives in liquid form
- Motor oil, fuel, antifreeze, hydraulic fluid and propane tanks
- Pool, garden and agricultural chemicals
- Car batteries, lithium batteries and loose household batteries
- Asbestos-containing material of any kind
- Medical, clinical, sharps, pharmaceutical and biohazardous waste
- Refrigerant-bearing commercial equipment that has not been reclaimed by a certified technician
- Contaminated soil or material
- Ammunition, explosives and fireworks
The full list, including the things we can take, is on items we take. If you are unsure about an item, ask before the day rather than presenting it to a crew who will have to decline it.
Access, disconnection and preparation
Crews will disconnect standard plug-in appliances and washing machines on a shut-off valve. Anything gas connected, hard plumbed or hard wired must be isolated by an appropriately licensed trade before the crew arrives. Electrified cubicle raceway must be isolated and certified by an electrician before teardown.
You are responsible for ensuring the crew can lawfully access the property and lawfully remove the items in it. For rental turnovers, evictions, abandoned property and storage unit clearances, that means confirming you have the right to dispose of the contents. This branch does not give legal advice on those questions and does not determine them.
What we are not
This is a hauling service. It is not a demolition contractor, a tree service, a moving company, a cleaning company, a records destruction service, a data destruction service, an asset recovery or resale business, an estate sale company, a hazardous waste contractor or a pest control service.
Where a job genuinely needs one of those trades, we will say so rather than attempting it.
Property and damage
Crews protect carry routes and handle items carefully, and the branch carries insurance. Where a community, building or site requires a certificate of insurance, it is supplied in advance on request.
Report any damage at the time or as soon as it is discovered, so it can be looked at while the circumstances are clear.
Items removed
Only items confirmed as going are loaded. Once an item has been loaded and the truck has left, it cannot be retrieved — loads are combined and taken to disposal, donation or recycling destinations the same day.
Set aside anything you are keeping, and check the load before the crew leaves if anything is uncertain.
This website
Content on this site is provided for information. Guides describe general practice and local context; they are not professional, legal or regulatory advice, and specific situations should be checked with the appropriate professional.
The Junk Koala name, logo and branding are the property of Junk Koala and may not be reproduced without permission.
Territory
Work is accepted in Fort Worth and the western Tarrant County and Parker County towns named on service areas. Arlington, Grand Prairie, Irving, Mansfield and the Mid-Cities are served by a different Junk Koala branch. A booking placed for an address outside this territory may be redirected to the correct branch.
