TV Removal in Fort Worth, TX

Old televisions are a specific disposal problem rather than a general one. A rear-projection set from 2004 weighs more than a washing machine, and a CRT contains leaded glass — neither goes anywhere near a household bin.

  • Wall-mounted sets taken down
  • Mounts, brackets and stands taken too
  • Routed to electronics handling
A living room crowded with a sofa, cabinet, lamps and packed boxes during an estate cleanout

Three generations of television, three different problems

The old CRT is the heaviest thing per square inch in most houses, and the leaded glass in the tube is why it is excluded from ordinary disposal almost everywhere. A 32-inch CRT is a genuine two-person lift.

Rear-projection sets from the mid-2000s are the ones that surprise people. They are furniture-sized, they weigh two hundred pounds or more, and they were usually installed in a room that has since had a doorway narrowed or a floor changed.

Modern flat screens are light and easy — right up until they are 85 inches, mounted eight feet up a wall, and there is one of you.

Sets we take

CRT televisions

The heavy old tube sets. Leaded glass means they must go to electronics handling.

Rear-projection sets

Furniture-scale televisions from the 2000s. Usually the largest single item in a room.

Plasma and LCD

Including sets with a failed panel that are not worth repairing.

Large-format LED

Wall-mounted sets taken off the bracket and carried out flat.

Mounts and brackets

Wall mounts unbolted and taken with the set. The holes are yours to fill.

TV stands and units

The cabinet the television was sitting on usually goes at the same time.

A single television is worth booking

You do not need to wait until you have a truckload. Single-item TV pickups are routine, and often available same-day.

FAQ

TV Removal in Fort Worth, TX — common questions

Can you take a TV down off the wall?
Yes. The crew unbolts the set from its mount and takes the bracket as well if you want it gone. Patching and painting the wall afterwards is not something we do.
Do you take old CRT and projection televisions?
Yes, and they are among the most common calls on this page precisely because so few other options accept them.
Is a television recycled?
Sets go to electronics handling rather than into a general load. What happens downstream is the facility’s process, and we are not going to make a recovery claim we cannot verify.
Can you take several televisions from a business?
Yes. Offices, bars, gyms and hotels replacing a screen estate are all handled — that is a scheduled commercial job rather than a household pickup.
